Pahiram ng
lasong bughaw.
Ipantatali ko sa
puso kong pula,
na naiwan ko pa raw,
kahapon ng hapon sa Maynila.
Pahiram ng laso mo,
para mabilis ko din maisoli sayo.
Bughaw para kulay ng langit,
alaala noon na 'di pwedeng mabanggit.
Hindi ako hihiram sa ibang tao,
dahil parang gamot,
ang lasong bughaw mo
ang tanging sagot.
Dala-dala ng itim na langit.
Buwan na mga tala'y bitbit.
Ang lasong bughaw mo ang may alam,
Pa'no ibalik ang puso kong hiram.
